India Forex Reserves Decrease

(RTTNews) - India's foreign exchange reserves decreased to US$284.391 billion as on October 30 from US$285.520 billion as on October 23, the Reserve Bank of India said in a report on Friday.
At the same time, the foreign currency assets totaled US$266.768 billion, down from US$268.348 billion last week. However, the gold reserves increased to US$10.8 billion from US$10.3 billion.
Meanwhile, nation's reserve position in the International Monitory Fund amounted to US$1.581 billion as on October 30, down from US$ 1.589 billion as on October 23.
